We all will get at least one or two in our lifetime. A speeding ticket is something nobody wants to have but it’s inevitable. So, if it’s your first speeding ticket, fret not. You are not the first to be written with such and you will not be the first to get out of it hassle-free if you know what to do.
There are several every day driving skills that are essential for safe motoring but which are not tested on a Driving Test. Would you ignore these because they will not be encountered on your Test? I hope not.
Delay the court date. Give all the possible reasons for delaying it without making any grand stories that will make it seem that you are intentionally delaying the hearing. But you want to do this because of two things. One, you want the arresting traffic official to forget as much details as possible until your arrest is a brief haze in his mind. Second, you are hoping that you get the enough time so that your arresting officer may already move to a different line of work or be transferred to another state. This actually happened to one guy and he got away ticket free so you can use this strategy to beat your speeding ticket.
If you have already received your first speeding ticket then you have several options – fight, plea, or pay. If you prefer to fight, you may end up losing and paying just the same amount as the fine. You get added insurance premiums, too.
Avoid Dressing. In the Driving Lessons Broadmeadows, you drove a simple and plain car. However, when you get the mastery of the road, you try to drag your car with much accessory. Accessories will just add weight to your car, which also adds up to the fuel consumption of the car. In the same way, the engine must burn more fuel and increase the emission of carbon-based smokes.
Three-point turn: When a safe location to reverse park the car is not found, in your driving test you may be expected to do a three-point turn. In this case you are allowed to stop the car on the left of the road before making the turn. You can to your advantage use the driveway on the right side of the road while taking your turn. It is important to correctly and effectively use the indicators during the three-point turn so that other drivers are aware of what you are doing. If you are required to stop on the left side of the road, ensure you use the left indicator. Here also positioning the car correctly is important. If you stop first, then do make sure you stop close to the left kerb. When you complete the three-point turn, make ensure you are on the correct side of the road.
The first thing you should really do is to not rev up your engine to a speed. That will definitely get you off the radar. With the new technologies being used to clock your vehicle’s speed, it will really be a matter of time before you get your first speeding ticket if you’re not careful.
