In a previous article, I explained my own decision in developing and conducting writing workshops. Today I’ll focus on just five simple reasons why you might want to consider it too.
Most writing Art jamming Workshop are broken up into breakout sessions. That means there are five, ten or fifteen sessions going on at a time, and you have to decide which one you want to attend. They might each only appear once or twice throughout the day, so no matter how you work your schedule, you’ll never get to hit all the sessions and hear all the speakers.
Klaus was so captivated by their music, style and spirit he came back two nights later with Astrid. They would return the next night, and the next until Astrid herself was hooked. Astrid had a blond pixie haircut with sad, large, dark eye’s. She was a girl of exotic beauty.
Allow questions to drive your Art jamming Workshop. If any question asked by a member of your audience is covered later in your workshop, simply say so and let your audience know that you will cover that in a few short moments. But if it is time that you hit on that point being questioned, it is a good gauge for your audience’s interest. Keeping the workshop interactive keeps it alive and helps you stay on cue. Answer a question, explain it in deliberate terms, take your time and think through everything you mean to say. Learn the art of beginning, explaining and wrapping up a point patiently, but efficiently.
At the end of that segment Art jamming wrap that segment up by making sure that you share success stories with them about some of your clients and their measurable results. Also, be sure to ask them what measurement they can achieve with the information you just gave them. Get them to write it down, and to also assign a date for achieving that goal.
If you don’t know something about your topic, don’t be afraid to let your audience know. That moment would normally come at the question and answer time. One of your audience members might ask a question that even you don’t know. For my art workshops, I have the opportunity to have my audience members back. So, I normally address a question I can’t answer with a statement that I don’t know, I’ll look it up and get back to them about it the next time I see them.
These are just some of the tips you have to follow when making your own garage workshop plans. These and a bit of research should help you make sure that your plans are not botched.
